Set up your Professional Faux Painting Portfolio… It' a Photo Album.
Use binders from the office supply store, you will need several eventually… so stock up. Get 1 inch or 2 inch binders with a sleeve on the outside to slip in an 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper.
Stock up on the inserts also. Plastic sheet protectors is what they are called. You will need the full sheet size as well as the ones that hold 4 photographs on a page.
Seperate the binders into categories:
- Childrens Rooms
- Kitchens
- Bathrooms
- Bedrooms
- Living Areas
Use your logo and your colors to design the outside covers of your portfolios.
These binders do not hold your sample boards.
Include photos of your own work as well as magazine pictures of faux finishes.
Create your marketing materials in a consistent fashion.
